They destroyed England in the 2nd half.

I wouldn’t say destroyed, but they definitely outplayed England from when Gordon scored.

But if the subs were positive rather than ultra defensive, I do wonder how that match would’ve panned out. There may well have been an outlet to carry the ball forward rather than Pickford launching it allowing Argentina to simply come straight back down the pitch. We will never know.
