"Coca-Cola mixed with onion as a pain-relief".

If people really believe this stuff then there isn't much one can do, they will clearly turn elsewhere for strange solutions.

There really needs to be legislation to stop this stuff but no governments seem willing to take those steps.

Conspiracy nonsense and misinformation literally kill people. We're seeing it with rising rates of measles right now and we saw it here with this poor guy.

Could this all actually result in a swing back toward support for public service broadcasting as even the thickest of the thick realise that they are being dangerously misled by social media tvvatery?

I know, no chance.

I had this thought that within a few years (this was a few years ago, btw), the only reliable way to get information would be by seeing it direct, with your own eyes, not through any kind of electronic medium with stills or video or audio being AI generated. You could maybe trust someone you knew well to report what they had seen with their own eyes too.

You could have hubs in boroughs or villages for example which send out observers on the train or bus to places like the Houses of Parliament, and then they could come back to a town square, or a pub or something and inform us all what's really going on.

A PubHub - that's the way forward, I think.

Good work by Philogene...... GREAT WORK BY PHILOGENE!!!
