New signings 06:30 - Jul 30 with 868 views

Why is it that since we signed Fatawu and Maeda everyone seems to think they should automatically start every game? Or at least going by a lot of posts on here.

Do players like Jack Clarke, Jaden, Nunez and Mehmeti not exist any more?

Don't think we should be so quick to automatically write players off so soon. Especially people assuming Maeda will start ahead of Jack Clarke or Jaden.

I love mehmeti and i was surprised he didn't get much gametime on the run in. He was our x factor for a while after her arrived and then nothing.

You've not listed anyone who will compete with Fatawu there. He really has Wes and McAteer and he's definitely ahead of them to start in my book. Looks great. Wes has a different skillset so may be used for certain games of course.

I've not heard much of people saying Maeda will be a certain starter. I think he will compete for the left forward spot. If Jaden is here then he will compete. I think Clarke will be more of a finisher if games (similar role to last season). Maeda has great fitness and work rate so best used from the start.

Because imo Oneil has been quite open whilst being respectful abour how weak our squad is to keep town up. He references our failed attempt a lot and only yesturday hea spoken of signings in all areas of the pitch still.
