Press attention is not the issue, owner interference and unrealistic expectations are the things I suspect McKenna would wish to minimise.
On the other hand, Newcastle supporters are very gracious. Between 1969 and 2025 they seemed to be quite happy for every other top flight club to win trophies, although Nodge supporters are perhaps even more gracious... |  |
