what i meant is that even if you add reform and restore's votes together, they're still miles short, whereas reform were sweeping the board in the local elections in manchester on their own, so the reform voters haven't all gone to restore... | |

no i agree they haven't all gone to restore, but I would imagine that the overwhelming majority of those restore voters previously voted reform. i just wonder if nationally, in the coming months, we will see the rise of Rupert and the fall of Nigel. | |

Yes. And it was always going to happen. I said months ago that they had peaked and won’t be anywhere near forming a government come the next ejection. Ditto the Greens peaked earlier this year. |  |
