Slightly surprised by the lack of ex-Wolves players linked with us 10:15 - Aug 2 with 1480 viewsringwoodblue

Apart from Max Kilman I’ve not seen any links with Wolves or ex-Wolves players that played under GON. Obviously the likes of Cunha and Ait-Nouri have gone to bigger clubs but I’m surprised there aren’t some that want to play under their old manager again in the PL.

The ones he openly criticised towards the end of his time there? Not particularly surprising.

Yes, they pretty much down-tooled in his last days of management there. Doubt there are any working relationships there he would want to renew.

Ladislav Krejčí is one that I like. Left footed centre half. Has played in midfield as well.

Good player.

The final sentence may not be true, how do you know there arn't any wolves players that'd love to play for GON?

Just because we havn't been linked to them doesn't mean they wouldnt like to play for GON or that we haven't made enquiries, i'm pretty sure we are unaware of many players we've enquired about

Are Wolves selling then?

I thought they had sold a couple of top players, signed Jimenez and Trippier and intend to keep their best players to come straight back up as Champions.

Would we want to sign the likes of Matt Doherty who they consider surplus to requirements and not good enough for a Championship promotion push?
