Unfortunately for Humphreys, the club has been a season ahead of his development over the last few years. Our 3 promotions have been the obstacle to him breaking into the team & getting a run of games. I’d question if you’ve been watching either of them that closely in the last 6 months or so then.
Take away the “come on you tractor boys” novelty of Nunez, and half decent set pieces, what has he actually got?
Everywhere Cam has gone, the fans have raved about him. This pre-season, he’s been consistently the best player on the pitch. He absolutely ran the game last night, and it’s no coincidence that when O’Neil changed the whole team at half time, he still left him on, clearly intrigued by what he could do.
I’m not going to say McKenna got it wrong - Cam is still only 22, and for most of McKenna’s reign, he’s been an inexperienced youngster. But his loans have done him good and he’s come back a completely different beast. |
Nunez played the equivalent of 25 full games last season 2325 minutes and made 14 goal contributions , very decent really.
Not saying one day Cam couldn’t do that, but he is miles off at present. He made 4 in the equivalent of 16 matches in league 1 |  |

Yeah. I don't see Nunez as anything more than a quality utility player from the bench at PL level but the reality is we don't get promoted without him coming off in the 10.

He's a good player but he's not a Premier League player however much people want him to be. If he was anywhere near as good as the hype merchants on here would have us believe there would be bids of £5m+ coming in from half of the Championship.
Strongly suspect he will end up going to a top L1 club for around £1m. |  | | |
