On TalkSport today he was assessing the prospects of the three promoted sides, and believes Ipswich are relegation certainties.
He said: "I'd imagine Hull are the first favourites (for relegation). They still have a lot of business to do, so that could change.
"Ipswich need goals, potentially, and that was the issue last time. Obviously they had the Man City boy they sold to Chelsea, Delap, but he still didn't score enough to keep them up.
"I think there's goals in Coventry. I think, in that league, you score enough goals, the teams who struggle, you score enough goals, that keeps you in the league.
"I do worry about those two newcomers."

Of course he’s going to talk up Coventry - no doubt, and similar to the deal we made for Taylor - he wants Mason-Clarke in their first team as he’ll have clauses in there regarding how many Prem appearances he makes.

Yes, and I'm not sure why he's so certain Coventry will score goals. Sure, they scored a lot in the Championship, but so have so many teams before them, only to struggle in the Premier League. They have Championship level attacking players. I also think that if they take their gung-ho attacking style into the Premier League, they'll be torn to shreds... |
And this is the same Coventry who couldn't score against us last season (but let in five goals). |  |
