Do wonder if the fixture schedule hadn't been so congested from Christmas onwards whether we might have seen more from him centrally. The fixtures meant the training schedule pretty much became Play > Recover > Match prep with not a lot of time to try new stuff in training.

Agreed I thought he was the best player with Maeda also looking very good in an afternoon of decent performances by the whole team (Very disappointed with Scherpen which is a worry but Van Ouvelen looks super comfortable with the ball at his feet)
