Was there a reason they positioned the camera in the north/west stand corner I wonder? This is not the first time i've seen a game from that period covered from that angle.

Someone in the comments suggested it was the same at Norwich too. Were Anglia TV trying to be 'fancy'

I remember the day, more so because of the 'trouble' the West Ham fans caused. I was a young teenage North Stand kid and remember the whole of the behind goal area filled with their boys. After the game a mob of 200 or so went on the rampage as far as Christchurch park area where they smashed windows at the Halberd Pub and other businesses along the way. It was reported in the Ipswich newspaper with pictures of the damage. I lived close by and certainly recall the boarded-up windows.
Enjoyed watching as I'd forgotten Mick Mills goal.
