Our promotion rivals from the last few years have gone on to have rather disastrous events bestow them, in the following years. Plymouth circled the drain, only to sink again. Sheff Wed turned into an absolute bin fire, and sunk. The Southampton had spygate, which destroyed their last season, and could potentially affect this one too with the points deduction, and potential punishment yet to come for Eckhart. Finally, we have Leicester, who completely fell apart after their PSR punishment, and could, potentially, have more financial woes in the pipeline, if they don't find a buyer.

I suspect Coventry will struggle but, as we did, use the whole process to keep growing and bounce back better.

I imagine Hull are similar to us in 2024/25. As much as I was critical of our transfer business during that season, we did at least return at the first time of asking. At the very worst, that needs to be their approach. |  |

Leicester finishing above us in 24/25 is a huge achievement for them, because they were absolutely awful.
They should have been docked points the season before and we should have been Champs. |  |

Its a win, win for Hull when you look at their situation over the last couple of seasons.
Should be enough money from this season to give them a big boost. Even after relegation they will be financially better placed.
Their owner is a bit strange, but clearly has something about him and how he runs the club to achieve promotion. I think Hull be fine. |  | | |
