A work colleague of mine was looking at a house that Curry was selling, but she was put off by the decor, especially the radiators, which were painted like zebras in black & white.
I spent a few nights in New York back in the late 70s.
One of my regrets is not going to see the place where the Rocky Horror film was shown and people came dressed as the characters and acted out scenes. One of the people I was rooming with did go along.
The practice of dressing up later caught on here, but it would never have matched 70s New York.
So sad. I first saw the Rocky Horror Picture Show when I was 11. And for my 12th birthday, my parents took me and a friend to see it when the Horror stage show version toured to the Regent. Curry made that film. A genius actor.
Gutting this. Absolutely love Rocky Horror and always thought Tim Curry to be a fine actor, his career was cut terribly short by the stroke but he got to plat some great parts
