For Coventry, after 25 years away it was not supposed to start like this.

All the anticipation, all the waiting and it ends with a crushing dose of reality.

A second successive defeat will serve as a reminder that, despite the euphoria of their top-flight return, this season will be a constant battle.

A reminder? The way the pundits were lauding them this - particularly tonight's result as 3-0 at Arsenal isn't really a disgrace - should be a shock and a surprise.

Shades of our last premier league season, the away trip to Southampton was quite deflating similarly to their loss against Hull. Even though we got a point with that deflected equaliser from Morsy - I thought we were rubbish that game.

Hull on the other hand must be bouncing. I know its early but surely if they manage to get something out of Villa, I might start believing they can stay up.

The way Villa are selling right, left and centre, it might be them hoping to get something out of Hull, rather than the other way round!

Credit to Hull, and this quote sums it up.

"We don't feel we have anything to prove to anyone. No-one has given us the Premier League, we have all earned it," said striker McBurnie.

I think they’re already down.

Hull are one of the teams they need to finish above & they’re already 6 points behind them.

That’s a huge amount when you’re going to finish on less than 40.

Last time in the prem, we had 5 points after 10 games. Hull have bettered that in 2. Fair play to them, be interesting to see if they can keep it up. They had some poor runs of form last season at times.

Cov definitely remind me of us 2 years ago. Except they have a high profile manager.
