On the face of it, it's a decent signing (if it happens)

| Flemming last season.... on 07:49 - Sep 1 with 254 views | jayessess | The price is much as you might expect. The goalscoring record last season was good, he was very efficient last season. However... last season was an outlier in that respect - he scored from 20% of his shots. Season before 15%, before that 8%, before that 12%. Maybe he just finally cracked it in that respect? But he wouldn't be the first forward we signed off the back of a season where they just kept scoring from every shot and regretted it. That's by the by though really. Bigger question is whether he leads the line well. Only Wolves were worse than Burnley going forward and not much about Flemming's out of possession game, hold up play or pressing game looks very outstanding. Would be a shame to recruit such threatening forwards and not get them in the game because the 9 can't bring them into it. | |

At Burnley he probably had most of the teams chances whilst he likely did not create much in way of chances for his teammates. Comparing his goals to players like Bruno, Gakpo and Salah is not a way to demonstrate his value.
