Except that the defence was our best unit last season, much stronger than that which went up from the Champ last time (conceded 10 fewer goals in the promotion campaign). It wasn't the area which required the most upgrading.

I'm not countering your point Guthers but as we all know stating the obvious the Prem is a very different animal . We've upgraded everywhere else and only one in the centre of defence

Millwall want 15m for azeez apparently to Brighton. Obviously then someone needs to go but I can imagine us having an eye on it at the least

Brighton have got him. Given the choice of Fatawu or Azeez, we went for the former. Hope this isn't yet another case of being outmanoeuvred in the transfer market by the B's: Brighton, Brentford, and Bournemouth. Will be interesting to compare the two players this season. Having watched both last year, I'd have gone for Azeez.
