Playing some good stuff, let down by terrible defending 20:51 - Sep 15 with 689 viewsTrequartista

Philogene, Mehmeti and Ouatarra are impressing. Kipre, Greaves and Walton are not.

Outarra has been excellent at LB. Flemming has done well. McAteer is not up to this level.
Overall, we've played OK but 1 ball given away in midfield - bang, 0-1 & then a suicidal play out from the back by Walton & 0-2. Be a raft of subs in the second half.

Not quite good enough in front of both goals so far. That's no disgrace considering who the lads are up against, though. Arsenal's second string would comfortably be a midtable Prem team.

If we can keep them quiet for another 20 minutes in the second half, then it might be worth considering bringing some of our first teamers on, and seeing if we can step it up a level in front of goal. If they get another 1 or 2 without reply we should just carry on with mostly the second string boys.

I hope I'm wrong (in a good way) but it's got the Liverpool game written all over it this one, I worry the second half will peter out with Arsenal happy to coast to a comfortable 2 0 win. Let's hope we can find a good final ball at last and stick it away to give us a chance.

I guess we should just stick with the backup lads then!

More pathetic defending Nunez doesn’t track the man half-hearted tackling Dowman is a brilliant kid but it was like a training exercise
