My hope for today is that we start to see even more of the benefits of a settled side.

I love watching the way successful teams ping the ball to each other.
They create faster attacks, and look dangerous every time they attack, putting the opposition on the back foot.
We saw this with our L1/Champ promotion team, and it starts with the confidence to pass the ball faster at the back, spreads through midfield and then hopefully continues around/in the box.

I think with the settling in of the new players, and especially the creative flair players, we are on the cusp of this. Everyone should know their job now, and where each other will be.

Once it happens, we'll not just be a joy to watch, but we'll be able to compete with anyone, as they'll be forced to respect us.

I really hope your optimism is justified - i just think we're still in danger of over estimating our strengths and underestimating others in the prem.

Yep I think every game is gonna be a bit of a battle (despite our quality upgrade)

Pinging it like Arsenal definitely a dream. Will give my right arm if we can somehow match up to Brentford, Brighton etc in the near future. May be wrong - I’ll be delighted if I am.

Brighton are fantastic at this, players with a lovely touch, you can't get near them, their first time moving of the ball is the next level we need to get to...a better team than Chelsea for example, not better players, not spent nowhere near the money but as a TEAM imo they're better..

Yep, as stated in another post, Arsenal were great at it. It's the simplest way to play, what is easier than passing to a team mate and then moving? There are of course levels of ability to it, but it has and always will be, my kind of football.
