The Rwanda scheme (or its like), is not exclusive to Britain. Similar types of scheme have/are being adopted by a number of European countries. I was never really sold on the idea, on a cost basis, but I am not sure how it can be deemed 'racist'. The courts didn't come to that conclusion did they?

The Courts deemed that Rwanda was not a safe and proper country, and that the scheme was therefore breaching our obligations under International law.

A government so keen to be seen to be "getting" the immigrants, they would send them to a place where they would not be guaranteed basic rights.
