Nice piece.

Nick Ames is a Town fan and excellent writer - with perfect taste, of course.

Good piece that. Can't argue with any of it.

That is a remarkably well-informed piece. Pretty much bang on.

That's a superb piece and Nick Ames has nailed most of the issues facing us. No surprise as he knows us so well and his footballing judgement is inevitably spot on. Many lines jumped out when reading his piece but this one in particular caught my attention....

"McCarthy is arguably at his best when his back is against the wall and the key to their season will be in how he manages a fuller set of resources."

We have no idea how the season will pan out as I reckon most of us have not thought much past this international break, but this observation could prove telling between now and Christmas. Teams will find ways to work us out, but if Mick can create a variety of game-plans when everyone is fit we could have some completely unexpected fun.

That's a fair pile of assumptions you've jumped to there.....
