This is really bugging me.... 13:52 - Aug 27 with 868 viewsThe_Major

Was coming down Constable Road the other day, and it suddenly occurred to me that that is in a great swathe of Ipswich that doesn't really have a name.

Basically think of the area to the north of the town centre up to Valley Road/Colchester Road and west of Sidegate Lane (east of there you can probably class as Rushmere) - so basically roads like Constitution Hill, Warrington Road, Ivry Street etc (Does it get classed as Broom Hill?) on one side of Christchurch Park and on the other side, Gainsborough, Brunswick, Belvedere Roads, and all points in between.

I know hundreds of years ago the area near the Henley Road/Park Road junction was actually called Bolton, and that's where you get Bolton Lane from (although surely that's on the wrong side of the park) , but beyond that I'm stumped.

And, as you can probably guess, very bored.
