Hi all,

Long time reader, first time poster.

Is there anyway to listen to the Ipswich game commentaries live on mobile phone? I've tried a couple of radio 'apps' to listen to Radio Suffolk but each time it tells me I can't listen to it on a mobile device the second the games kicks off.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks all and in Lambert we trust.

As for your question it all boils down to the licensing agreement for that particular game, online of course. If your mobile could connect to fm radio over the airwaves, i.e. not digitally/online - you might stand a chance, otherwise it is very difficult to get game day commentary unless you sign up for Ifollow, which you can listen to on your phone.

I use the iFollow app. It requires a subscription, but is pretty good for audio commentary.

Most VPNs are banned now so easier said than done.

There is a caveat; I believe you have to convince the system you are not in the UK, and not every game is shown - ie if it is shown on the telly abroad you wont see it.

Is this the case for the live commentaries too?

Not the audio commentaries, they are available in the UK (with subscription, obviously) without having to use a VPN.

Generally, cup games are broadcast online by the BBC, but not League matches. Tho there has been the odd case where they forgot to switch over for at least part of the game.

95% of the games are live. Think I have missed two this year.

Yes. I have been watching the games via a VPN for the past 18 months now. Works great, matches are £4/£5 a match.

No, its £4/5 a match depending on if you put yourself in the USA and pay in Dollars or Euros.

You will need a VPN (use the free option of your chosen VPN provider to buy the match on ifollow, if you see the option then you will be ok to watch the match) -

Then just pay the cash and settle on the sofa.
