Yeah, the ticket office is really helpful, I find. Go to the ticket office. If it's a "first offence" they won't charge you. They just asked me a few questions to confirm I was who I claimed to be (DOB, address and that was it, I think). |  | | |

I was just googling reading your suggestion of anarcho thingy.
Quite liked the bit about destroying the state. Long overdue imho given the self serving nature of it in preserving the status quo for those of privilege. Loads going on in Chile at the moment that will be of interest for sure.
But - my question is how do anarchists see those born of humble roots who have gone on to do alright without exploiting anyone (say maybe worked overseas, got well rewarded, all wealth gained by fair means) who are now fairly well off so clearly not part of the working class..? | |

It was - but saw you'd posted so thought I'd ask here.
Chile - links as in to the Anarcho stuff? Nope, just picked up a whole load of anger speaking to locals, seeing the graffiti and from a friend who lives there (via FB)
They are having a referendum on the new constitution soon which will be a critical point - either they reform and accept it - the place could melt down. We'll see.
Also - spoke to a Brit who'd been up in the north (he'd been tear gassed) who says there has been lots of ongoing agro. I was mainly in the south where things were quiet.
Santiago looked like a bomb had hit it. I was there last January and it was quite a shock seeing it again after the riots. Police have been, well exactly as you'd expect from any South American police force. Sadly for them, camera phones now record and can share immediately exactly how they behave. Something we always knew, but now it is there for all to see, very quickly. | |
