In the hundreds of games I’ve been to in the 40+ years I’ve been supporting the club I have never experienced an atmosphere i would describe as “toxic”. Our fans are the most forgiving, docile crowd they’ll ever play in front of. A few moans, groans, boos and the odd chant by a few hundred is as bad as it ever gets.

I don't think PR's atmosphere is all it's cracked up to be.

It was more positive last season with Lambert coming in but you never felt we could be the 12th man to help the team win the game (yes I know we would have struggled either way).

The current mood will indeed make things even worse.
