If some clubs go under then there will be a higher than usual glut of players without clubs. The normal rules of supply and demand could result in clubs cutting wages and those free agents may have to suck it up to keep playing. I'm not confident that Evans and Lambert are the sort to see an opportunity and be the first to sign good discarded players from other clubs.
