There are a couple of old lifeboats on the Regent's Canal near Kings Cross but they certainly haven't had this much work put into them.

I’m only just sitting down to read the news today.

This is a superb story.

I’ll take some photos inside a smaller lifeboat on my next ship if you’re interested in seeing what a smaller one is like?

The packets of water they mention, they’re 500ml packets. There’s enough water in our lifeboat for 3 litres per person. This is to last 7 days. Nothing on the first day. Then 500ml per person per day for the next 6 days.

The Calmac ferries will have less due to their proximity to land.
