I would have said face masks, but for some interesting new research which suggests a possible source of inoculation. Someone I know has also been working along similar lines and it looks genuinely promising.

Guthers, if this is the case then I suppose it suggests that those who have died or had severe symptoms of Covid have never had one of the 30% of common colds caused by coronaviruses.**

Rather than people being given a vaccine for Covid, would it be possible for people to be voluntarily infected with one of the common colds caused by coronaviruses?

Not all cold-causing Coronaviruses, only one particular type. They're still looking at the genetics to see if it will really work.

That is how inoculation works. Look up Edward Jenner and Cow Pox.
