It is absolute prime time Lambert to make a completely baffling comment, having some sort of dig at the only one of our five centre halves that looks anywhere near first team quality on the eve of the season (following him being superb last year), having consistently praised numerous players last year when they were utterly shiiite.
Luke has presumably seen sense and deleted the tweet and the like he gave to the tweet criticising Lambert's comments about him, but nonetheless, what on earth is Lambert thinking.
Mick barely ever criticised his players in public, most managers heap praise on their players for very little and Lambert makes this bizarre comment about a player who has been bloody brilliant. The same man who practically climaxes if Jon Nolan has put two passes to feet or if Alan Judge puts his shin pads on the right way round.
