What is the true value of our current squad? 16:26 - Aug 28 with 820 views | Pippin1970 | Obviously if you top of the league prices are higher and much lower in a relegation scrap. Definitely one player will be sold before the transfer deadline we can all see that.

I really don't think we have many players worth £500k before COVID, let alone after. But yeah with Downes, Jackson and Wolf it does really boost the average. At a guess you're looking at something like Holy £200k Cornell £200k Donacien £100k Kenlock £200k Chambers £0 Woolfenden £3m Ward £0m Nsiala £100k Downes £4m Edwards £400k Dozzell £1m (based on potential) Nolan £200k Huws £200k (reduced due to fitness) Bishop £500k (reduced due to fitness) Lankester £500k (based on potential) Dobra £500k (based on potential) El Mizouni £200k (based on potential) Judge £200k Skuse £0k Sears £500k Norwood £500k Jackson £2m Hawkins £200k Bear in mind what we paid for them is irrelevant and they were on the way up. Now they are on the way down and we only got about £400k for Harrison, who was still fresh from being very good at this level. Figures are just rough but you get the point. We have very few players who would command more than a few hundred grand if sold due to the level we are now at and their flattering to deceive. Sears, despite being 30 odd is proven in the Championship bit even then I'm thinking at £500k, that's twice what we got Waghorn for who was also proven and that was before COVID. I was taking into account that some will fetch far more than others, but agree, maybe £300,000 per player would be more realistic.

Suspect the reality is only a bit very small handful would fetch a fee at all. They are only worth what people will pay for them.
