Straight up, even with our incompetent manager. Top 2 or I will see it as a failure.

That's a tremendously open question at the moment, dependent upon too many unguessable factors.

We all know where we ought to end up - top two, if not Champions.

But thus far we have little or no idea:

- whether Lambert has got a grip on the problems which cost us last season
- If the squad can generate the quality to win 25+ matches while keeping defeats to around half a dozen
- whether Lambert wil last the season, how much of it and who replaces him
- how Covid-19 may affect this season
- how the financial fallout from the Pandemic may affect football in general, other clubs and ITFC
- whether Trump will have started a nuclear war with China to distract from losing the election.

Good Lord! Whatever is it?

Wembley play-off victory.

No evidence for that based on the previous couple of years but equally that should serve as a basis for doing things differently this time around re: formation, rotation, need to select players on form, need to select players in their more natural positions that don't expose their weaknesses and the players around them etc.
