There was a player mentioned and a photo from a game. No idea of his name. But he was tall. Really stocky and looked an absolute beast of a player for his age.

He has played for our first team and looked promising in early patches before being moved back to obscurity this season
I know the academy coaches are quite excited about him, I believe he could also have played professional Rugby, had trials at Man City and is late to the game but certainly has promise?

I don't understand why we played Judge upfront when we could have given Simpson a go
You can't tell me Judge is better suited to that role than him, I've no doubt at some stage he'll breakthrough and be quite handy
I can see his chances being limited with Sears, Jackson, Norwood and Hawkins on the scene though
Sears has been a little disappointing so far, I'm not saying Danny Rowe would have been ripping this league up but I think he'd have been a better option on the wing given what I have seen of Sears this season
Judge hasn't been the success we would have hoped for, I'm not saying he's totally hopeless but he needs to reinvent himself as a Jay Tabb type midfielder I'd suggest. I've no doubt he can put a decent ball into the box but he isn't going to get as many goals as he once might have done and he certainly isn't going to bust past full backs and get down the byline. | |
