Admitting you’re wrong 09:39 - Dec 6 with 717 viewsstickymockwell

People respect and forgive when someone can admit their mistakes. It’s like a reset.
When you’re going the wrong way but your just too stubborn and ignorant to have a look and see that it might just be that you are the problem only leads to breaking point and ultimately failure.
Division between manager and fans never end well, but if PL was just to try and repair the situation and accept his part, the ITFC fans are a good and forgiving bunch and would IMO give him more support than ever for doing so.
We understand the stress but no one is going to give him the backing he needs the way he’s going now.

I was just wondering if that’s what he meant when he said the negativity won’t change.

He’s in control of the situation and he only needs to address it with some level of maturity, and then he might actually be able to start mending some bridges.

But he knows it won’t change, because he’s not got it in him to be even a little contrite.

For a bloke who made a massive thing of getting fans onside when he came in, he's sure as hell gone back on that now.

Almost as if those were utterly shallow PR moves made by a fraud and a busted flush.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

He needs to go back and have a long look at the after match support he received in his first half dozen home games and pocket his pride .
