Ward and Chambo switch has not worked and direct style has faded 19:57 - Feb 9 with 433 viewsunstableblue

Early doors I thought the set-up might work, and did understand why he may go for the experienced full backs.

But Judge and Bishop are lost. We are not keeping possession and moving them around as per Saturday. 32% posession is poor.

Parrot has been bright, but we're not creating interplay between him Norwood and an advancing Judge/Bishop. Our joy has been Dozzell breaking forward and linking.

I have to day that I think Chambo and Ward are a big part of our problem, and need to step back. That and Lamberts inability to coach in a decent system and fire the players into keeping the press going. Once the press dropped away we fell back.

Because we're hoofing it Parrott has hardly got on the ball so he hasn't had a chance to show what he has, which is plenty. He must be wondering what he's doing out there, chasing aimless punts upfield.

You can't play 4 4 2 diamond with defensive fullbacks, it was never going to work, even FM tells you that, how on earth Lambert thought that would work is really baffling.

Never be afraid to share your thoughts.

Ward and Chambers.....they're never going to improve on Saturday, the energy of youth etc. You are right, our whole system fails with the ageing full backs in the side.

Both nice blokes though.
