Presumably, with the match on Tuesday, the "young team" he is referring to is the one that took the field - average age 23 ranging from 18 to 31 with 3 players under 21. The subs bench ranged from 21 to 35 with an average age of 29.5. Considering you would want those 7 players involved in the training as well, why is he not using the rest of the squad to train? Why is he getting them to play against an under-21 team instead?
