If Lambert and Evans met yesterday 10:05 - Feb 20 with 678 viewsCheltenham_Blue

Why are we still waiting? I really don't get it. Does Evans believe the best chance of a win today is to leave Lambert where he is until Monday.

Yes it will disrupt preparations, but I suspect his immediate removal would have significantly lifted the mood in the camp before this afternoon.

I wouldn't be surprised if he just said take the reins today, don't say anything more to the media and he will officially be gone by tomorrow.

Well I hope it’s a “mutual consent” immediate post match briefing, otherwise the fact he remains in situe post discussion is worrisome. Given the week just past, if that doesn’t lose you your job nothing ever will.

Waiting until after a loss so they can announce the contract extension.

No Doubt. Followed by an interview with Marcus explaining why Lambert will remain our manager until 2032. Green shoots and all that.
