Will get shot down for saying this... but hopefully we’ve learned our lesson about appointing a manager on their own, who’s success has been heavily linked to having a consistent assistant. I always wonder if things would’ve been different here for PL if he had Culverhouse.

From anyone who knows Cook and his style better, is Richardson as crucial?

I imagine when the Wigan takeover is confirmed that Richardson will be out of a job, so by the end of summer he could be poached by us.
