Seems a bit unfair if a vote was to end up that close to make the 48% go along with a 52% "majority"

SavantaComRes is one of the least accurate pollsters but it’s encouraging nonetheless.

The most interesting thing is that a poll on voting intentions for the Holyrood elections has been released. The SNP are down by 5% with that vote going to Con/Lab/Lib. I’d have thought that the greens would have benefited from a slump in SNP support as they are the other pro-independence party, but they’ve seen their poll numbers fall. I guess it shows that independence is associated solely with Sturgeon and that a few who were previously behind IndyRef2 have been spooked by the idea of giving her more responsibility.

In all likelihood, she’ll recover and this poll will be an outlier, but I thought it was interesting to see which parties can benefit from potential SNP losses.

Here is said poll

Another poll released this morning showing a narrow lead for NO.

Labour also took two council seats of the SNP in Thursday’s by-elections. I think it’s safe to say that Scotland is far from lost to the UK.
