Not so long back there were claims that the fans in the ground were putting the players off playing well and quite clearly this has turned out to be a bit of a nonsense. Those players know full well what the response would be from the crowd if one was allowed into the ground and its not concentrating their minds.
Evans being there today is interesting in the time line of things. Someone who has shown so little interest travelling to Rochdale on Easter Monday. However this won't be any final goodbye. My knowledge of the deal as initially proposed would mean Evans still retains a minority stake in the club so I'm sure he will still pop up every so often. Would assume this will be to. Protect his losses should we get promoted at some point. Mind you the way we have ayed I wouldn't be surprised if the sticking point was that he wanted to negotiate all involvement away so could be completely shot of the train wreck.
