I genuinely feel like the banter years at ITFC are coming to an end. We have a good manager and now a new ownership team that are driven to succeed, competent, and willing to put in the required investment. Now all we need are new players who want to be part of that success story. The days of ITFC being a laughing stock and seen as an easy ride are soon to be at their end.

Two seasons then Prem?

I just pray we are the miracle turnaround in English football, and oh, how I'd love it if we were the next Blackburn or Leicester! Especially given that lot up the road have been trying so hard to be a Premier League club for all the time we have been in the gutter. For us to walk back up and do something magical again would crush their little world.

I am fantasizing of course.

Why can't this club be in the Premier League? Why can't we win a domestic trophy or two? We need to set the standard and remember we're Ipswich, not Wrexham.
