I was there but don't remember too much about it other than a frozen pitch meant it was postponed on the original date.

Looks like Steve McCall playing for Plymouth,

I do. That’s the first time I’ve seen that since being at the game. It was good to see it and the goals were familiar! Looks like Peter Shilton was in goal for Plymouth. Clive Baker was certainly in goal for us. As I remember it, the game was closer than the 3-1 score. We eventually went out in the 6th round to Arsenal in the middle of a really poor run of form. That ended with thumping Norwich 3-1.

Yes, FA Cup third round match in 1993. I don't remember Plymouth being a bit unlucky and Shilton looked well and truly past it by then despite what the commentator claims.

The original match was postponed due to a frozen pitch.

Tranmere away in the next round was a good day out. Ah, cup runs, those were the days.

Yes. Think I was stood at the front of Churchmans by one of those red gates.

Fair to say that Shilton had lost the ability to dive by then. To be honest he’d lost it by 1990 evidenced by the penalty shoot out versus the Germans!

It was till really cold and i fancied a cup of North Stand bovril to warm the cockles. I was not alone in this. 'we havent got any Bovril'. Some things have never changed..
