That's a great set of photos, and if you ever find yourself on Mull then a boat trip out to Staffa and Iona (put a pebble on John Smith's grave whilst you are there) is wonderful on a fine day. Cannot match those, but there is a particularly charming puffin encounter in the thirty third photo of this week's pictures of Scotland (and also one that almost looks like it is posing at the twenty fourth):
They were nesting in my PhD field site in Iceland. I could sit and watch them for hours. TWTD.
We tried to book a trip to Skomer back in May to take the kids, but bookings were rammed this year (seems much busier than normal everywhere). There are several places in the UK where you can see them and most of those places are close to popular holiday areas, so well worth making a special effort to see them if you get the chance of a spring holiday on the west coast.
