Just wanted to say what a fab time was had at the twtd bbq . It was great to see old friends again and of course thanks to our wonderful host the lord of the manor Edward Stone

If anyone Is thinking of going next year then you absolutely should.

And the day was much enhanced by Cap'n Newcy's gift of a couple of kegs of excellent Away Day beers

The Butcher's Bandage was very smooth , a lovely beer

And the Ale'n Shearer was very drinkable given its alarmingly blond colour. I am usually not a great fan of "Craft Ale" on account of the excessively citrus/acidic flavour....most are about as subtle as an anvil landing on your foot. But this one had had taste and balance

I was extremely impressed by both beers, I thoroughly recommend them

Obviously the taste was enhanced by the fine company and good cheer of the event
