Reading stop publishing a Matchday programme.

It was only a matter of time of course and it’s not unrealistic to assume that this season could possibly be the last season Town published a match day programme.

I’ve not bought one for possibly 15yrs now as it’s a completely pointless exercise in my mind, however I would possibly pay a nominal fee to scan a QR code on the day of the match to download relevant and topical information.

There were reasonably sized queues are PR last weekend to purchase programmes. How profitable it is now I have no idea.

I stopped buying them years ago once I realised I only flicked through them while at the ground and they were taking up storgage space in the house.
