No luck for him again, another nasty injury - Achilles surgery, possibly season over. Forgotten he’d moved up to Championship with Blackpool. Their fans sound gutted, one of their better players so far this season.

I really liked him but he was too versatile for his own good. We moved in one direction as a club that he seemed not to keep up with.

A real shame for him that.

I'll admit to never rating him. Always looked weak and his best attribute was his engine.

His best games were centrally in Mick's 3-5-2. Think he played in the 0-1 win at Villa in that role.

Shame about the injury though.

Looks like he’s been playing centrally in a 4-4-2 (Garbutt at LB Connolly at RB too.)
