I'm not a business man, but I know when money is being badly invested. Sure, Evans put a load in, but much of it was badly allocated - the money he spunked on Keane, Jewell, Hurst and Lambert's transfer budgets and contracts could, for example have been put to much better use on club structure, facilities and a transfer budget for Mick. |  |

What is it about us as a fanbase that means a section will always form a cult around a manager before he warrants the kind of adulation that bestows?
We saw this with Keane, Lambert and now Cook. I'm all for positivity and all, but his record so far has given us nothing to cheer about and is starting to show signs that it might never.
Don't get me wrong, I'll be more than happy to eat my words if today sends us off on a long winning run, but he's done nothing to deserve the 'Lambo' banner/'Well said Roy' treatment yet. [Post edited 18 Sep 2021 15:02]
