We remain very frustrating this season 17:23 - Nov 6 with 662 viewsSteve_M

Every time we look like we might build some momentum this season we don’t quite manage it. Today was really frustrating after a good start, especially given the side that started that game.

Slightly surprised that we don’t make at least a few changes just to keep players fresh.

The other big failing is soft goals, we don’t keep enough clean sheets and it keeps costing us. Hopefully we can improve that for the rest of this month but a long trip for a replay won’t help.

Agree. When are Ipswich ever not frustrating though?

Looked fine for 20/25 mins and then just stopped playing - we were visibly coasting, a few unnecessary flicks and stuff, and this was a reminder that we are nowhere near good enough to do that yet. Not that bothered in the scheme of things, though that second half was 49 min I will never get back. Hopefully we give players some minutes they need in the replay.

A long trip to Plymouth didn't do us any harm when it came to Wycombe.

We've got a lot of talent in the squad, but there's something lacking in their mentality. Which is probably why they are playing in the Third Division.
