Donacien last night... 08:14 - Nov 24 with 498 viewsBanksterDebtSlave

Seemed really reluctant to overlap Celina last night. Maybe because he knew Celina would ignore him, not track back if if losing the ball or just knackered?? No effective width ,stifled us last night until Edwards came on and got past them multiple times.

That, and Donacien isn't really the kind of full back that overlaps a lot, anyway.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

Playing Celina in that midfield three behind Bonne last night wasn't go to work. They are all too similar, all too lightweight.

Celina was the better of the three but is it me or does he seem reluctant to take a player on? He was denied time and space last night (as were the others) by Rotherham.

Personally, for this Division he can be a bit 'lightweight' but as you say, to blame Donacien's performance on Celina is harsh.

I think having such a direct winger as burns has helped Donacien a lot this season. I thought he was poor last night, as for Celina I think he was our brightest spark last and continually ignored by JD and morsy who more often than not opted to play sideways

No but he overlaps Burns more confidently. Celina really is a bit sh!t though Stokie despite your scientific analysis!

Edit... the number of misplaced simple passes in recent games has been ridiculous.

Less crap that the others though.

Chaplin played the worst pass of the evening last night, volleyed across our own box from the wing to their player. Brenner described it as "suicidal".

I just feel Celina gets a barrage for playing better than the others whilst they get barely a mention. It's a premeditated narrative.

He could of course do a lot better than he is though.
