Is anyone watching wheel of time on Amazon prime? 15:17 - Nov 25 with 610 viewsnodge_blue

It’s supposed to be amazons equivalent to GOT. And it’s cost a fortune.

But I’m finding the CGI really grating. It’s like the people don’t seem to be walking properly, especially in the first episode. And all the settings are clearly all green screen acted. Nothing looks real to me.

Has anyone else found the same? It’s like the super high def TV that we now have, meeting a highly digitally produced film, creates something unreal.

Anyone else find that?

Apart from that, it’s kind of ok. Getting a bit better as it goes without being amazing.

LAcks the characters of GOT.

Still the series is easier going than the books,of which there were 14, four million words in all. It took nearly 23 years to write, so long that Robert Jordan died before he finished it.

I got as far as book three, gave up and decided that, henceforth, if a series of books went beyond three I wouldn't even think about starting.

I quite enjoyed it, though was a bit bemused by the huge leap away from the book in the very first episode, having read the showrunners reasoning I'm still not convinced but we'll see.

I didn't find the CGI too offputting lthough there was the odd scene that as you say grated a bit which is a shame because it kind of pulls you out of it when that happens.

No idea when I began here, was a very long time ago. Previously known as Spirit_of_81. Love cheese, hate the colour of it, this is why it requires some blue in it.
