Today's game 20:24 - Nov 28 with 394 viewsFixed_It

Started very well. Then went a bit flat after a longish injury break. Second goal pure class - won't see many better this season. Second half we had chances to finish the game off. Obviously, Crewe fancied their chances after scoring and raised their game accordingly, but had Bonne scored either of his opportunities the game would have been won at a canter and Crewe would have slunk away. As ever we didn't kill the game off, and this gave the opposition belief. Fine margins. Had we won 3-1 or even 4-1, the tone on here would have been very different. And with better finishing we would have.

Having been there and watching the highlights.. as you say if Chaplin takes his one or Bonne his two we’re in a different place…

Bonnes misses are particularly wasteful. First one was a brilliant and exhilarating move. Which no one is talking about.

We played some good stuff and were entertaining.

But as we didn’t kill it off, and as Crewe opened us up and looked the better football in side in the second half, the overriding impression is of a poor display

Poll: How many points will Town get from 5 (Wat, Boro, Hull, Cov, Hudd)?

Crewe had 2 good chances first half and put them both over, I would argue that if they had converted their chances we could have been beaten.

I imagine they were very suprised how much freedom we seemed to give them throughout the game, at 2-0 we allowed them to carve us open time after time but thankfully like us they couldn't hit a barn door either!
