Great result for Colchester United’s youngsters. Also, you have to consider that this FA Youth Cup tie compared to the EFL game is a different level. Those Arsenal youngsters are probably going to be even more focused and concentrated knowing they were going to be up against some of Town’s first team, so they needed to raise their game. It’s a different intensity for me and the young Gooners may have been a little complacent going into tonight’s cup tie, but I’m certainly not taking anything away from Colchester’s result, that is still impressive.

A team is only as good as its weakest link. Well done Col U youths a great result but too many of our teams this season have been far from teams at all. In fact not just this season, either.

Let's hope our next manager get get them playing together as a team.
