Used to love rocking up to Portman Road and seeing the TV Lorries parked up behind Churchmans - in the days when we didn't have a clue which matches were being televised. TWTD!

Tell tell sign was the Friday before match as bbc trucks were usually parked behind the stand setting up for the next days footie …… happy days.
And one would turn up at the water tower next to Chantry School to erect a transmitter up there, not so many satellites back then and ground is relatively low lying.
