Used to love rocking up to Portman Road and seeing the TV Lorries parked up behind Churchmans - in the days when we didn't have a clue which matches were being televised. TWTD!

I remember it well, my mother worked at Clair House and she could see right into the ground. Chicken run was the first stand I attended in.

And one would turn up at the water tower next to Chantry School to erect a transmitter up there, not so many satellites back then and ground is relatively low lying.
